We have an excellent opportunity for a Manager, Facilities in our Aguadilla Puerto Rico facility.


Plans, designs, and reconfigures equipment, machinery, buildings, and structures to ensure the optimal utilization of the organization's facilities. Assesses and evaluates the physical space requirements of the organization and recommends plans to meet needs. Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs. Ensures proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance. Conducts machine inventories and arranges disposal of obsolete or no longer-required equipment. Manages facilities contractor management process.

+ Has responsibility for entire systems, projects, programs or operational unit across or within functional areas

+ Accountable for budget, staffing, and/or business/operational results

+ Responsible for ensuring all contractors and/or third party workers perform in accordance with UTC requirements.

+ Perform UTC audits of jobs carried out by contractors to ensure compliance with UTC requirements.

+ Exercise authority by implementing contractor discipline policy if necessary.

+ Communicate UTC expectations to contractors as part of job planning. Ensure job plans include adequate UTC

+ Directly manages individual contributors and may manage supervisors or group leaders\"

+ This role would also be the owner of the Utilities Systems, Repairs, TPM's (Maintenance) and the Readiness of the Buildings for BCP-Emergency Purposes.

+ Work closely with all facilities system related to building, inclusive of control, electrical, air conditioning, mechanical ventilations and fire protection

+ Duties that may be assigned with respect to EH&S related issues, process, programs and plans

+ Attend and have participation in group meetings, teleconferences and/or training required.

+ Actively participate in initiatives for continuous improvement using ACE tools and support AS9100 efforts. Obtain ACE Associate certification.

+ Support project management activities.

+ Based on business needs, the incumbent may be required to support other duties/functions within the company.

**Basic Requirements:**

+ US Citizenship required due to government contracts

+ BA/BS degree in Engineering Field

+ 7+ years of experience in the field and at least three (3) years of supervisory or management experience.

+ English fluency (verbal and written)

+ Experience with Microsoft Office applications

+ Knowledgeable in project management

+ Knowledge in EH&S Practices & local EH&S regulations

+ Basic understanding of OSHA regulations and health codes

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Ability to work as part of a team

+ Strong interpersonal skills
